Office
Administrator Position
Currie Communications Ltd., is looking for
an Office Administrator. The successful candidate must be
presentable, articulate and able to communicate well verbally
and in writing. They must have a good working knowledge of Word
and Excel. Knowledge in other computer programs would be an
asset. Some evening and minimal out of town work is expected as
events require.
Specific responsibilities include managing
the day-to-day operations of the office, reception duties,
mailing and courier needs, email and hard copy mail merges, name
tag development, managing on-line registration lists for our
events, month end coordination of client invoices, filing along
with providing administrative support to senior staff for the
management of their events and helping with junior event
planning work. This position can lead into an event planner
position.
We offer industry leading remuneration
along with 3 weeks vacation per year plus an additional 5
Personal Days. $1K per year towards a health plan of the
employee’s choice. Over-time is required and paid time off in
lieu is provided for OT. The successful candidate must have
their own transportation as they are often required to run
errands to pick up supplies and do bank deposits. Mileage costs
are generously reimbursed. The successful candidate should have
at least two to three years of administrative experience;
however, adept knowledge of how to use Word, and Excel is an
absolute must. Strong verifiable Internet research skills are
also a BIG plus.
